Merchant Securities is pleased to offer a CFD trading service to its clients. This facility allows clients the flexibility to go long (buy) or short (sell) and to capture the directional movements of single equity events. We also offer CFDs on stock indices in the main global markets – FTSE, Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500 and Nikkei 225 and CFDs on UK equity sectors.
Contracts for differences (CFDs) are an agreement between two parties to exchange, at the close of the contract, the difference between the opening price and the closing price, multiplied by the number of reference shares specified within the contract.
