Chris Theis has extensive experience in investment banking, having worked in the capital and equity markets in both New York and London. He joined Merchant Securities from Daniel Stewart & Co Limited, where he was a director of corporate broking. Prior to this, Chris was managing director and head of corporate broking at both Canaccord Adams and Insinger De Beaufort. In his earlier career, he led number one rated small cap teams at Smith New Court and Hoare Govett. Chris holds an MBA from Cass Business School.

Max has over 20 years’ experience as a stockbroker and analyst, covering both secondary and primary business including equity and debt capital raisings for quoted and unquoted companies. He has worked for Citigroup, Nomura, Société Générale and the Bank of Bermuda, where he was the Managing Director of the bank’s international securities business. Prior to entering the industry he qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu).
 

Dwight Burden has spent the last 12 years exclusively as a UK small & mid cap salesman, working in both London and Edinburgh. He joined Merchant Securities from finnCap, where he was a member of the UK sales team. Previously, Dwight was a director at Dresdner Kleinwort, working in its highly rated sales team, and has also worked for Bridgewell, RW Baird, HSBC and Deutsche Bank. Dwight holds a degree in Economics from Brunel University.
