Our technical analysis research department issues the 'Mercantalyst', a daily strategy note for institutions. The 'Mercantalyst' provides an incisive view on the direction of currencies, commodities and sectors as well as the overall US and UK stock markets.
The research identifies the big macro strategic calls and the key decisions in the year that will maximise fund managers' portfolio performance regardless of whether the market is going up or down.
In addition, we publish the 'Objectivyst', a weekly Point and Figure note which systematically identifies the sub themes in the UK equity markets.
By scouring the UK stock market, we help fund managers uncover potentially winning stocks before the rest of the industry.
The team is headed by Richard Crossley, voted no. 1 Technical Analyst in the Extel Survey in 2005/2006.
